Vermont mountain forests and New York Finger Lakes woodlands. Explore the Forest Service camping and recreation listings to choose a developed campground or a permitted backcountry trip.

Choose a developed campground, cabin or permitted backcountry option from the official forest camping directory. Facilities, seasons and reservation methods vary by recreation site.

Use a designated campground site or a location where vehicle camping is expressly allowed. Match the site and approach to vehicle size; unpaved roads may be rough, narrow or seasonally closed.
